Hear this brief clip of Malcolm X speaking in 1964 about the Democratic Party as well as the "Dixiecrats" who were a short-lived political party made of up Democrats who left the Democratic Party in 1948 because they were against Civil Rights for Black people, and in favor of segregation.

This is so true today, as it was 60 years ago. As we vote as Democrats and for Democrats. The party that we back, do not and can not keep their promise to us, yet we still vote Democrats. It's time for us to look at the policies that are people can and will benefit from. How good it is to hear from one of our own, The Honorable Malcolm X thank you Sir!
This was the truth, but blacks had to feel that they had some kind of political power, even though they gave up part of themselves to achieve it. That was the plan to get the vote and make us feel we achieve something, when we did not achieve much. It will always be apart of our history.
Damn, same today.
It is amazing how the political arena has changed very little since 1964, when I was 8 years old. Malcom X's teachings are still relevant today.
Present politics continue to neglect the issues, concerns and needs of our people. We must persevere woth a vision displaying unity and dermination in order to receive equality for our people.
Malcolm X was nobody to play with, he was not afraid to speak the truth and teach our people to bring correction, knowledge, and unity a lot like Delxino and Queen Debbie does with Garvey Nation citizens.
Speak Brother Malcom. Speak. We needed to hear this Brother Delxino . WE need to stick together as brothers and sisters in Garvey Nation. There is power in our numbers.
It's Amazing how relevant Malcom X 1964 speech of the state of the mindset of Our People and the Dixiecrats is still exiting this very day in 2024 ..he was saying then , "We Got Took" and We Are " Political Chumps" nothing has changed...Except for the Building of Garvey Nation in this day and the state of "Chump-ism will no longer exist among Our People
Bro. Malcolm breaking down “Poli-Tricks”. So right he is to this day. Thanks Bro. Malcolm.
Blessings
60 years later and 'absolutely' nothing has changed! Until black people have a specific written agenda and vote as a block, all will remain the same. Give honor and thanks to Malcolm X for courageously speaking truth.
What a great speech educating Black people about the true voting process in America! I like how Brother Malcolm put them back into their true place. Their cottonfields. They( Dixiecrats/ Democrats) will never keep any promises made to our race you see! What an education on how politically immature Black people have been in America. Well the sleeper has awakened! We are on the rise now! No more backward thinking. Time for thinking ahead. Let's go Garvey Nation!
This is a brilliant exposition of the American Political landscape in 1960’s. Malcolm presents a panoramic view of reality where Black people (with their new right to vote) are actually able but just unwilling to leverage their voting power as a block vote, with unassigned loyalty. Their unearned commitment to the Democratic Party demonstrated a lack of intelligence as it relates to a political stratagem that could and most certainly would give our people the political deciding power to become the “King Maker” in every election. Then and only then will our concerns ever become a priority on the list of things to do for either side.
What is crazy is that, here we are in 2024 still practicing the same crap 60 years later. It is unimaginable that our people are stuck on stupid by having unwavering loyalty (in large part) to the Democratic Party despite never enjoying the political reward. In Malcolm’s word, “We’ve been took! We’ve been had!”
It is definitely an eye opener and most educational. I must now further my knowledge in those affairs so I don’t ever get misled by political game that doesn’t represent me or my race as a whole
The Honorable Malcolm X spoke this truth 60 years ago (a very short time ago) who's are the Democratic and the Dixiecrats and those (Black Leaders) who works for them to bring the Black votes to them on a silver platter.
"When you go to the cinema and you see the glorification of others in the pictures, don't accept it... organize your propaganda to that effect.... show your own motion pictures."
This video speaks truth to power of political growth of our people.
