We’ve added shea butter and cinnamon oil to this Oatmeal Soap to make it deliciously soothing for melanated skin. Once you inhale its sophisticated scent of musky amber, sweet plums and floral jasmine, you’ll say “Mmm, mmm, mmm!”
Oatmeal is an age-old medicinal remedy. This soap contains 2 forms of oatmeal: rolled oats and colloidal oatmeal (finely-ground oats). Colloidal oatmeal is a *centuries-old topical treatment for a variety of skin conditions, including skin rashes, erythema, burns, itch, and eczema. It has been shown to exhibit *anti-inflammatory properties.
Shea Butter has been used in Africa for thousands of years. Shea butter is very rich in fat and has been shown to have *antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Cinnamon Oil is a warming essential oil of cinnamon bark. Not only does it smell nice, it also has been shown to have *anti-inflammatory properties for skin. A study done on cinnamon oil also suggests that it has *anti-cancer properties when applied to skin cells.
